Would I like to see more lesbian programing? I'd love to see more lesbian programing. And it matters to me what it is. I don't like to watch things that seem exploitive or designed for straight male audiences. While I enjoy comedy, I'd like to see dramas and characters who seem like real people.

Would I watch Logo and Here if they had a specifically lesbian drama? yes.

Do I have these channels on my cable now? No. Not available.

Yes, I watch The L Word.

I absolutely love that there is a show mostly about lesbian characters. I don't like that some of those characters, like Helena, have not been written consistently or realistically. I don't like that the show's producer seems not to care what her audience wants. It's not like there are a dozen lesbian dramas out there to choose from. It's almost as if she's playing to a captive audience. Much as I can appreciate that an "Artist' should have a free hand, the special circumstances here should give her some responsibility towards her audience. Sad to say, unless we get an entire season of nothing but Jenny fantasies and lesbians sleeping with men. I'll probably continue watching.

What kind of programing would I like to see? Anything, but especially dramas with characters who seem like real people.

Imagery and representation does matter to me. I'd like to see realistic portrayals of lesbian characters. The glamorous people on L Word are OK, but I'd like to see other kinds of people too.
