I'm on my laptop in my hotel... I should be sleeping for upcoming meeting, but we all have priorities right image

If one thing you can depend on with LWord is anvils falling at the rate of Bette's tears lol. Speaking of those tears, while I admit this can get tired, it's understandable Bette would be an emotional wreck. She's tried her best to the do the right thing, so many pent-up feelings; especially an overwhelming guilt, and now she's confronted with one of worse fears being "destructive". So yes, I can understand after being shut-out from Jodie (who she knows she deeply hurt), Kit's KO, and confirmation again she's far from perfect... that she "releases" in this way.

Random things....

-

Confessional Games - I've never hated an episode of The L Word *chug chug chug* I wonder how the script was written for this scene.

I've never lied about who I'm sleeping with: Tina drinks, stares at Bette. Bette drinks, stares at Tina.

I've never been in love: Tina drinks, stares at Bette. Bette drinks, stares at Tina.

I've never been a big fat cheater: Bette chokes down her bitter tasting beer, looks to Tina, looks to Jodi, takes another big gulp from her close-to-empty bottle of guilt.

- Hee, that's why I make sure I have my trusty bottle always within reach image Oh, but you still can't go wrong with the patented "Tibette eye f*cking"... no one can sell it like JB/LH

- Bette's line "it says to put tab B into slot J" with Jodie saying, "You're doing it wrong"... can we say anvil alert *ahem*

- Bette subsequently falling on her a** lol

-

That one moment before Tina takes off, the anguish on her face, man it just breaks my heart. Then the slow realization that comes across Jodi's face is just wow. MM justified her entire role on this show for me in just that one scene.

Word ww. I could see some argue that Tina couldn't handle the situation and fled, but I take the position we're finally having an honest moment, where in truth it would of been much easier to continue the deceit by having Tina "bluff" her way of the situation.

- Kit, girl, I know you want to give little sis a "reality check", but have we forgotten a certain married man with family that you were up close and personal with *hmmmmmm*

- And yes, poor Jodie "collateral damage", but I loved how Bette made a point that it would never work out with Jodie because she was in love (and always in love) with Tina. By the way, it's interesting how so many kept telling Bette (at one time or another) how perfect Jodie was supposedly was for her. I have to wonder if this didn't play a part in the past for a "perfectionist" Bette to cave in, or allowing herself to be "castrated" by Jodie because her fear to fail again.

- Can't go wrong with "Go Boobs" image

-

Shane/Alice/Tina - How awesome was this tent scene? "I never saw this coming"...*they all take a drink* Priceless!

No doubt about it. Also I don't believe anyone can doubt the depth of Tina's love for Bette... not only the words she used, but Tina's gestures made it so palpable.

U-Hauled - Does anyone else feel like there's this huge ticking time bomb just waiting to go off between Tasha and Alice?
Public Bathing - Is Niki flirting with Shane? What is this? Is this trouble I smell? Why yes, I believe it is.

- I don't believe IC has ever heard the word subtlety *ahem*

- Molly's line "I know that I'm still Gay 101 but I'm a really fast learner. And before you know it I'm going to be Advanced Placement Gay and then Graduate-Level Gay. And #$%% Law School, I'll get my doctorate in $%%#%*% gay." lol I not the biggest Molly fan, but I must admit she has endearingly geeky quality to her.

- How I miss Dana *sob*

I thought Jenny had the most profound line here. Who knew Jenny had such insight? (At least when it comes to other ppl's relationships other than her own.) But the thing is, Bette and Tina needed to move away from each other to come back again. Havoc wreaked is unfortunate. The collateral damage and the other people hurt in the crossfire is unfortunate. But it had to happen. I was really upset after the sh!t from season 1 but it's taken 4 long years to realize it had to happen this way.

ww, eloquently stated! Oh, and did I see another anvil rear it's face with Nikki's commentary concerning their own relationship.

- Speaking of Jenny why do her scenes always seem to go on too long *arrrrgh*... Apparently, Adele got more pleasure out of Jenny/Nikki than I did. I wonder what type of audience reaction Adele will get with that tape lol

- "Is this the Taj Mahal, Adele?" hee.

I don't know where to file this ep away as. I have really strong feelings about it but I can't quite put my finger on what those strong feelings are. I can't say I hate this ep and I can't say I loved it. There was a lot of fluff but it was pretty intense during some parts as well. It's like the other shoe hasn't dropped yet.

Again ww, you have a way to sum up the episode perfectly image
